This is from a post in a newsgroup.
I modified the Windows 8 pic.
Hope you find some humor. :-)

Nice!
But you (they) missed the upside down outhouse that was Windows Millennium Edition.

Someone used that version?
And not to be an asshole but, there were versions of winblows before 95.
Then again, it might not be good to mention them because it would show
how far backwards winblows has gone.

Windows 7 to this day is the only period where MS was sane in developing their OS..I recently reverted back to 7 from using 8. While 8 has many under the hood improvements, general useability went waaay back..8.1 preview with that 'fake' satrt button is just fuel to the fire. With Ballmer rumored to be stepping down in a year or so, we'll see what happens...

I never owned a copy but used it along with my brother at my mother's house.
I was using Win 98 and thought ME was a couple of steps backwards.

I have tried out code that would cause appearances by Dr. Watson on XP on Windows Seven and it recovered just fine.
I did find an obscure vulnerability present since Win 95 that still worked on Windows 7.
I think that virtual boxes have made forensic analysis of malware/virus much faster.
A lot of the malware makes some assumptions or overlook "qualities" that are visible to those who pay attention.
Sometimes self protective measures end up in their undoing.
Outta here.

...my wife did use it.
She asked me to try to recover data from that PC, but I could not even boot it stably enough to do any thing...
Anyway, I love vista version

I dunno, I think it's been going downhill since WFWG, but maybe that's just me.
So um, just to show my ignorance and lack of caring, I had no idea who Steve Ballmer was. Now that he's retiring, they're showing his top 4/6/8/10 crazy moments.
Was this guy for real? Such a dignified gentleman to represent one's company
