Hello again folks, and heres a strange problem i have, and maybe someone can shed some light on it.

I would like to emulate a data disk image on my windows 32 bit 8.1 tablet
The tablet uses a compressed 8.1 wimboot image, also a Intel® Atom™ Processor Z3735G, plus 1 GB Ram, the data image is protected with secr**5.03.13

Now heres the problem bit I would normally use either Alcohol or Daemon tools to emulate the image but the tablet will not allow me to install any DuplexSecures SPTD drivers
Alcohol goes into a boot loop after i install it, and keeps asking me to reboot my system to update my driver but doesn't actually install the SPTD driver, & Daemon tools
only gives me the option of using DT drives everytime i try to install a scsi drive it looks like its going through the motions of installing it, and asks me to reboot my system But also doesn't install the driver..

Now i know i need the scsi drive option because this enables me to get into the advanced menu options to activate rmps\secuRom..which at the moment is greyed out
Both Daemon & Alcohol work fine on my laptop which is Win7 64bit..

Now heres the strange bit when i load the image in Daemon tools using the standard DT drive without any protection, the image will sometimes work ie when i start the program it`s very hit & miss maybe 1 out of every thirty attempts, so what i would be very appreciative in knowing is why does it do this?

According to Alcoholsoft & Daemon tools it`s a issue with Duplexsecure SPTD drivers, and Duplex`s recent update gives the same problem, even though they are aware of this issue
so i`m stuck, is there any other vendor or method of installing a scsi drive on this tablet? many thanks

You might want to poke around the bios.

Thanks Woodmann, for your hint as to where I should be looking but this particular tablet is known for being bricked for doing your suggestion
Could you be more specific,

Ok Woodmann done a bit more digging, should i be looking at disabling the Trusted Platform Module in the UEFI so i can install the SPTD driver, or am i looking at the wrong option?

That be what your looking for.
As always, have a current backup before you do anything.

It could get stuck in a boot loop so make sure you have your backup
off the tablet so you can reload it via sd card.

Well tryed this method and still no joy, the driver went through the motions of asking me to re-boot the system for the changes to take effect, but did not install it dam
