Hi crackers,
I was recommended by a friend to approach this board because of the gathering of crackers or reversers. Basically, I have written a little protection program (activeX) to be used by visual basic programmers. It is similar to vbolock and others.

The point is, I would like to have your opinion on this ocx that I wrote. At the moment, there is only the demo version because I have yet completed the full version which is available upon registration. I don't want to boast about how good or well protected this ocx is because I am not a cracker and I don't know how well it will stand against attacks. I don't believe in selling snake-oil. If this ocx turns out to be rubbish, I will just remove it from my website and think of something else. So, please give me your honest opinion.

And one final thing, I am not sure how much to charge users. The reason why I charge users for this ocx is because they will be charging others. All other programs of mine are free.

It is packed using UPX just to make it smaller. Nothing is changed in the header and you can unpack it easily with upx itself

Hey there, I personally don't do this often but if you want to supply us with a program that uses your protection that would be very useful instead of having us (me) install VB and create a test program.

Another thing, this is off your web site:

thanks for showing interest. Like I said, I am not sure how well the protection is employed and thus, have not actually started selling it. In the demo.zip file, there is a demo exe compiled to use the ocx. Everything that is required is in the zipfile including the key generator.

Hope you can tell me if it is possible to get a FULL Version without using the key generator and the Program Code used.
