Hi all,
Recently I'm having problem with the environment space in Windows Me. When my PATH setting is up to a certain length, it seems that a vxd prompts me that it's out of environment space when I just get in to windows (then the system will hang). In win98 or previous windows, I can add a line SHELL=C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM /E:2048 in config.sys to fix it, yet it does not work anymore in Me, is there anyone can help?
Thanks

I'm not sure about this but it worth a try:
checkout registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\control\SessionManager\Environment\ConfigEnvSize

Anticode.
