You are better of not touching it.

win3.1 applications where buggy. the kernel
had no control over them. the win32api (duh)
was very primitive and most of it never existed.

Everything ran in real mode, and you can pretty
much guess what everyone was allowed to do.

If you are serious about this, you will need to study
the calling convention of the win16 api, get the docs (free with borland c.)
and get some real mode asm references. Good
Luck.

Or you can upload the app to a public ftp server, so *some* of us take a look at it
this sunday ; )

How could i forget this. The Schulman series.
Or get Fravia's watered "Taskman" version, really good.

Search tsehp's for "taskman disassembly".

Also read Older articles from Matt Pietrek's
column "under the hood" IIRC, from MSJ. it is online
at MS's site. I haven't touched it in ages ; )

P.S. anyone noticed how lame pietrek was becoming?
i don't know about win98 saving him, but last time
i checked, he was into mfc guis >: /
