1) i'm not quite sure wich version of safecast it uses, but since it creates a c:\cdilla i assume it uses safecast as protection. how can i find out the version number of this sc?

2) tfl put a stupid keygen on the cd instead of cracking this program. but the program hasn't a normal 'enter serial here' dialog, it opens a html-file that asks for the number. but it does not use the default-browser for this, it opens the file with IE. and this doesn't look good on my system, since i uninstalled everything that was part of IE.
looks pretty funny if you click on 'register' and a white page pops up with two radio-buttons in the middle but no images, text or anything else . i tried to go through the registration process by opening the html-file with opera, but this didn't lead to a registered version, even if i saw the 'thanks for registering'-screen so,

3) this means i am not able to register it and therefore not able to execute this programm. is it possible to get rid of safecast without being able to run the target? (R!SC's unsafecast 2.02.40 only said 'random error' as i tried to dump it)

4) if it is possible, where can i find tuts or other additional informations about this protection besides the tut from tsehp 'Reset the time limit'?

ps: where can i get the latest unsafe*-files from R!SC? protools and player's tools seem to be down at the moment.

Ey,

Can't u just rename your browser's exe file into IE.exe and put it into the dir where IE is supposed to be? I don't know if this works (maybe you'll have to copy some dlls too), coz I still have my IE installed for this kind of occasions
