So I'm patching this program the other day and I noticed the name of the serialization process was called "Bozos live here".

Anybody encouter anything like this before???

It's an internal function inside user32.dll or kernel32.dll, don't remembe which off the top of my head

Uses the bozos_live_here api (check ORC's tuts on what that means)

Simply put, the programmer is using Microsoft APIs to do the serial validation..

Easy to crack, though.
