I would like to know if someone had worked on
the ECC method and the implementation in Flexlm.
Is there some essay over this?

Hm, so you want to find the ECC seeds 3 & 4 and calc. ECDLP so that you can find "d" ? is this correct?

It's been worked on, but not too much progress has been made yet, at least as far as I know. Currently we're all still stuck with patching in one form or another.

That's right, maybe patching is a solution now (and for ever!)
but i would like to study dearly the ECC implementation on Flexlm.
I had worked full over this but i haven't exit :-((

I'm sad to say that I haven't really studied this specific issue any closer for quite a while. However, I'll scan my old cd:s and see if I can find any old notes.
But I suggest that you start by reading the excellent essays
by Dan and Nolan Blender if you already haven't, that would probably be the best way to start out!
