i've got softice 4.05... win 98 and S3 Virge DX graphics card.
it used to work fine.. but now when i load it up through the autoexec.bat entry.... i get first the memory report fine... then the next screen screws up something like

While initializing device SICE
(some garbage chrs. here)

then windows shuts down....

this happened to me once before... but got corrected when i had to reinstall windows on my machine. is there any way short of complete windows reinstall to correct this???
