Back in May to early June there was a thread here on the Microsoft Activation Protection. Doing some research recently on the subject I came across an article by a German company by the name of Fully Licensed GmbH that has apparently done an indepth analysis of the activation process. They have placed their article on the net and made it freely downloadable and distributable. At the conclusion of the article there are links to their web site which has some source code which they wrote to help them analyse the process and they have a tool to help examine the activation code.
