my setup is softice v4.05 + w2k 5.00.2195

i installed softice and things are not going to bad

nevertheless, the mouse has a particular comportment :
when i move it (physically) the cursor don't move and
menus are lighting on in a special fashion...
(the mouse isn't one of those intelligent ms mouse... :-)

setting are :
Mouse setup : PS/2 Compatible
Display Adapter Setup : Standard VGA and Universal Video Driver
Starting mode : System

My video card is an ATI Radeon SDR

If anybody has an idea...

did you select the right mouse in the mouse confuguration?
if yes, it seems that your mouse isnt compatable with softice
I would have replace the mouse with m$/logitech wheel mouse
