i know he states in his tutorials that you receive them "if and ONLY IF" you mail +him back, but....

+ORC is disappeared, so nobody will ever receive this lessons again,

wouldnt it be the right thing if some people who have them make them public?

I believe that some of the +ORC tutorials remain "missing". However if you had taken the time to search, perhaps with google for "ORC tutorials," you would find a lot of information on what is available.

It would appear that the "reverse-engeneering.de" is offering what are generally known as ORC packs that include not only the essays, but the very old programs that are discussed. Most of these you don't need, but they are available. There are a number of sites that are offering the ORC packs and one in particular offers the ability to download the "packs" individually, rather than as a very large file. You'll find then at:

hxxp://home.online.no/~reopsahl/files/orcpaks.htm

There is a site that has the +ORC tuts in text format, only 197 K, including tut 9.4, without all the old programs attached at:

wxw.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Network/1598/tutz.html

There is also Chinese site at :

hxxp://www.ebook007.com/

that has most of the +ORC tuts in an eBook format, and its only 432 K. If you can't find that one. send me a PM with your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

If you have any interest in the old riddle about the disappearance of +ORC and the search for his missing page, try:

hxxp://www.home.aone.net.au/byzantium/orc.html

There really is alot of information out there if you are willing to search for it and take the time to learn how to do it. There are several good articles on the Fravia site with information about this skill/art.

i informed myself about orc and his tuts before posting this...
i got the complete orc-pacs...

what i am talking about are the lessons he claims to send the people who mail him back, since he is gone nobody will ever get them again, unless someone has already got them and makes them public...

the lessons i mean are:

Lesson 4.3, Time protections in Windows, advanced cracking
Lesson 4.4, Quiver protections in Window
Lesson 6.2, Funny tricks (some other)
Lesson 7, Intuition and luck
Lesson 8.3, How to Wincrack, a first conclusion (III)
Lesson 9.4, How to Wincrack, Hands on (4)
Lesson A.2, Advanced cracking (Internet-Dos)
Lesson B.1, Zen cracking (basic)
Lesson B.2, Zen cracking (exercises)

well koyaan,

what about offering these tuts to the public ?

and JMI:
you are right that the paks contain useless stuff but sometimes there are newbies, who are glad to get the complete package with proggis like pooldemo.exe ;-)

koyaan, I intended no offense with my reply, but you had not indicate that you had found any of +ORC's tuts and were only looking for the "missing" and there are often posts here where someone has done no basic research before posting.

As I stated in my previous post, some of the series remain "missing" as far as I have been able to determine. But the 9.4 tut, How to Wincrack, Hands on (4), is not among the missing. I have a copy and it is, as I stated, available in the zip file at:

wxw.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Network/1598/tutz.html

The point I was making about not needing the older programs was simply that the essays themselves are available without a major downloading project for those of us on 56K modems or less. And of course, most of the tuts are actually available at the Fravia site here.

If someone wants the 9.4 tut I'm attaching it here. If anyone finds the others on the koyaan list I also would urge that they be made available.
