I need a good low level recovery prorgam. One of my disks gave me some heavy problems tonight, and I'm trying to recover some important files. Somebody have some good suggestions?

I suggest you to look at Tiramisu if your boot sector gone.It is very good recovery program.If only some files or directories gone I can suggest you FinalData (http://www.finaldata.com) and Directory Snoop (http://www.briggsoft.com)

I suggest getdataback, now dont remember who made it.
It is the best (I tryed almost all available recovery software when my disk was formated) also you may try to use disk explorer if your disk is not damaged too much so you will be able to browse it almost as normal. (also it is the best file undeleting tool)
