I have come across my first program that detects softice and want to know if there is a patch to hide softice 4.05 from this program and others ?

Yes there is ... Check out protools.cjb.net and have a look under the Debugger Section and you'll discover the SoftIce Addon Rescource Center...

ForgsIce is the best hider tho...

Thanks for answering so quickly but i have tried to download the newer version from there and and it is gone just get some russian startup page i have the old version but either it doesn't work with 4.05 of softice or its just for version 4.0 as my version of frogice says frogice vxd error (code 2) any other help would be great

Thanks worked it out doesn't look for the vxd driver in its folder
you have to put in in with the ftploader.exe
