Is it possible to retain your internet connection whilst using softice? I'm often online when im cracking and so it gets annoying when i get disconnected just cuz i ran softice...

oh yea, same for my windows clock as its often behind.

I can help you with the second problem, try this (http://www.woodmann.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=2554) thread to find an answer.
Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you first problem. If you're in SoftICE, Windows seems to be frozen and does not get any events as, for example, the WIN-key. If the remote host sends a signal to check if your machine is still online, your machine will not respond and the remote host will get a time-out after some time. You can switch to SoftICE for a short time, but if you do it for more than (normally) 60 seconds, your connection will die.
