If you look around you can probably find a number of other threads with this very same question. Unfortunatly for the most part it seems that in many cases there really is no answer. Some get it working no problem, others seem to have trouble.

DriverStudio 2.6 is supposed to be supported under XP and there have been a number of people who have gotten it to work. Whats the problem your having? Video issues, mouse, bpx's, etc...

In my case I have it up and running but for some reason it cant find certain symbols, for instance I can set a breakpoint on MessageBox or GetDlgItemText but not CreateDialog or DialogBox. The symbol loader tells me that SoftICE is not running, when in fact it is. I have yet to see an answer to this problems.

Describe your problem a bit, maybe we can help out...

I've tried the patches and they dont work properly. SoftIce does work, but it randomly reboots both my main computer and my laptop, so no sucess
DriverStudio 2.6 and DriverSuite 2.6 (I think thats the name) both work with XP according to numega, but at $1300 theres no hope of me getting it. Heh, and i've tried *acquiring* one of them also, but to no avail at present.

Hope this helps

Hello everybody !

I had to delete the last five posts of this thread, because they where all links to warez.

One more time, and maybe the last time before taking radical action, this is NO board to ASK FOR or PUBLISH WAREZ.

This is dedicated to the people who posted this stuff here (they know they're meant) and all others thinking the same way: READ THE FAQ (http://www.woodmann.net/fravia/rce-faq.htm).

The patch is for si from studio V.2.5 which is also ntsi4.05 as a stand alone s.ware
The patch contains 2 files that replace 2 files in c:\windo...\system32\drivers.
It works fine but if you follow a direct tut based an older version of si you'll find out that they don't work(because the command needed is different for that version)
look the manual up for the commands that works in your version.
ex: BPR will give you an error message but BPM [address]>[address+(L)] will work instead of BPR.
Hope this helps.

you guys are amazing how you help out others(newbies). Thanks to all.
