softice version:4.05


I have installed Softice and restarted my pc
softice was loaded but then I saw the message

"Beim Initialisieren des Gerätes Sice
(hier stehen so komische zeichen)
Weiter mit beliebiger Taste "


I try to translate it

"During initialisation of the toll Sice
(here you can see some bizarr chars)
Continue with any button "


5 seconds after this message the computer crashes
(before windows is loaded)
...

when I remove softice in the "autoexec.bat" windows loads normally (but softice not ;-) )


I have installed softice several times
and I have checked that the downloaded file > it isnt corrupt

so thats not the problem

PLZ help me Ive no idea what to do

I have tried another programm that hasnt to be started at the same time like the os >>>h**p://www.crackthis.here.de/
but when I start the trw2000.exe the system crashes down, too!

I know there are several reasons why it could crash but...

I ve RTFM

so...

once i had %subj% app....it have been loading some "display1.vxd" ? and my w98se crashed just perfect :-) have no solution for this :-(
