Hi, i've been trying to crack winzip 8 for a while now and i got it half cracked i guess cause i was able to make it accept anything i enter in the registration screen. i nop'ed a couple of jumps so now it accepts anything i enter. however the next time i start winzip, it still asks me to register it. and again, i can enter anything and it accepts it. i dont know how to make it not to display that "thanks for using winzip" screen. im just a newbie and im having a hard time figuring it out. can someone please push me into the right direction? any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks in advance.

Try keygenning it instead, it has a very easy routine, so it's not hard to rip it out and do your keygen. Plus, you'll be able to find loads of tuts on it, since it's a classic.

another way besides actually making a keygen is to take advantage or winzip's built in keygen. insert a few lines of code and you can have winzip register itself w/ the correct key for any name entered.
