I am using winxp and driver studio 2.6. I have cracked some software in win98,but I can't crack them again in winxp, because I can't determine what breakpoint i can use. I have tried "messageboxa,getwindowtexta,getdlgitemtexta......" and softice does not break. Please help me! Thank you!

Hello chenl !
Why haven't you searched this forum before posting?
There are more than five threads explaining precisely that there is no hmemcpy in NT, 2K and XP and nothing which get's close to it.
Then there is the question if you can set any breakpoints. Try breaking on some API in Win98 and then try it again on XP. If it fails, it's a "SoftICE on XP" problem and you've a reason why it is not breaking.
Finding a solution for your problem is more difficult. Please do not start a new thread here since it has already been discussed by many people with the result that there is not result.
No general way is known to make SoftICE work on WinXP if it doesn't happen to work.
Just try to find an answer in the older posts. If you don't get it working after that, there is probably no solution.
