Hi evryone
Its been lon time since my last post or from doing any reversing/cracking, nice to come back here, even if not evrything go smooth..

With the graet speed i have at work, i like to download large movies using Kazaa, but i hate the Icon in the system tray, i guess my boss knows what it is. I think that to replace this icon with a plane gray icon can do it Hard to imagine that the software is running.

Using Procdump, i could unpack it, PEPack, but then, the program still can't run or modiffied by Exescope. Maybe something needed to re-build or whatever ?

Hope someone can help with this...

Hi Snake !!

I have unpacked this one !
You have to dump at EOP 4c3a8e and rebuild an IT 513000 -> 5138FC.
I have tested it and it seems to work.

Include Import Table.

Hi

I haven't checked res and you have some error with exescope on rebuild exe .. but .. i have coded a resource rebuilder

It haven't be used still .. today !!!!

My rebuilded exe have IT rebuilded section at 353000 3000 size

If you want resource section at another location, tell me.

With Size limitation, i can't attach this file (168Ko zipped)

can't you try to just hide the icon, with a program like wonderful icon? the whole program is running but invisible!

Hi ijsman
This thread will become OT, but just to say thanks....
When kazaa run, even when with full screen, there is still an icon in the system tray.
Wonderful icon can handle the main window OR the icon in the system tray but not both... Thats as far as i could learn about it with the limited time i had.
(if i'm wrong, please e-mail me)

thanks again

oops, yes you're right, i tried it also, it seems to only work well for programs that are not in the tray, there should be a way to hide it though.
