so I got softice and tried version 3.2 and 4.05, but all it does is freeze windows (98). How do I stop this from happening?? Should I get version 2 and apply the icepatch, or something else?? I appreciate any help. Maybe I just need some of them drugs .

Heh, thats what SoftICE does. It freezes windows so u can see whats going on. Try to press F10 a few times
Maybe u should read some tutorials about SoftICE

By freezing Windoze do you mean that this is occuring before or during bootup (ie. a protection or page fault causing the freeze?). If this is so, you could try turning off the faults option in the winice.dat.
