I downloaded a programm called Application Warp 3.1,the software's help says it can be used for 30 free days unless you register it,so....I made a keygen for it
During crashing the software I found that it had Anti-softice code, but the code didn't stand in my way.I used a registration code I got to register it,it seemed that I was lucky,a message from Application Warp 3.1 told me that I was registered and let me restart it,I followed the message....the problem appeared.

When I restarted this software, the about window in it showed
"UNREGISTERD",is that my fault? Who can tell me why??

PS:When I changed the system time, the software tells me I still had 30 days left, is it a BUG??

Maybe additional checks on keyfile when program starts up?

Hello,Lbolt99:

I have installed it to a computer with no ice and anyother debugers, but the problem remained,so I think it's a bug...

Hi

Someone brought to my attention that there was a shareware target here with an uploaded keygen for it. (Thank you for that, I must be slipping ;-)

We just cannot have that here or all hell will break loose again with the Crackware watchdogs and we'll be in danger of losing this precious site. Sooo, I deleted the keygen. Keygens, cracks or serials for shareware or commercial applications are not allowed AT ALL, no exceptions.

You'll need to find another way to describe your reversing problem. If there are any other threads that someone finds with questionable material of this sort (let's use some common sense here), then by all means report it to a moderator.

Kayaker

Not a problem AlpHakK, just the rules we gotta follow to try to keep this site from being closed down.

Re your problem, it *does* sound like there's another check somewhere. Filemon or Regmon should give some indication if something else is being read. Run an API monitor on it and see what calls are being made that might indicate a secondary check. The initial reg routine you found might be bogus. Or it might be real but it's actually a crippled demo you have and the "real" registration never occurs. Follow what happens *after* what you think is the successful reg routine, there may be another check on something that's necessary. Dunno.
