Hi all,
I just wonder how people can use SICE (from Driverstudio 2.6) with XP. It seems to be unusable....I know that few (!) people here already said that, but is there any *real* developpers who are working with Sice ?!!

"Real"... what is real? If you talk about something that you can feel or touch, "reality" is nothing but signals interpreted by your brain...

LOL, Daffydos, this is something too good to pass up. Sorry

Okay, there has been a lot of disc. about SoftICE and XP incompatibility ( i think 2-3 every week ) So you might benefit from searching the board "better"..

BTW, I believe all developers here are *real* developers and not virutal

Hi foxthree,
Dont be sorry, following the white rabbit is not so easy....

In fact, even if it is my first message here, i am a "veteran" using SICE (since the early DOS version). I know that a lot of discussion occured few weeks/month ago and far from me believe that most Fravia users are only bots

I t seems that there's a lot of trouble with XP (problems that i don't encounter with win2K) (breakpoint disapear, etc..)

Maybe there's also a misunderstanding about *developer*...im just talking about people who are using the Numga Driversuite for writing kernal drivers....

That's all folks

Hi guys,

Apparently there are some problems (aka. driver conflicts with certain hardwares) on windows XP that is why DS 2.6 doesnot work on some machine!

However, i have heard from a few people that it is more stable to install sice 4.05 on XP and then apply the XP patch provide on numega site... I am not sure though cos I dont use XP...

Hope this helps somehow,
Binh
