I always seem to get a problem with loaders / process patchers
i have a program which is packed with armadillo and i could only get one loader to work with it and it works 100% but if i distibute the loader it doesnt work on some other ppl's machines especially if its a different operating system
i have had this problem with a few programs i have cracked especially if the loader is being used on XP / NT or Win2k and it was done on Windows ME
Can anyone tell me why this is and more importantly how can i fix it or suggest a loader that will work no matter what machine or operating system it is being used on?
I presume that different operating systems are somehow allocating memory diffently and so the memory offsets are different, can anyone suggest a loader that doesnt use a virtual offset but instead will work out the offset off the oep or does a memory search and replace (is this possible with a loader)
TIA
