Bad News about Winrar >2.8

they use some sort of Elliptic Curve Cryptography with 241 bit(base point order), short at this time it seems to be impossible to keygen it

Mike Rosing's book 'Implementing Elliptic Curve Cryptography' my be of some help (or not) in your quest to reverse WinRAR. At one time tE! had some example source code on his site I believe.
