Another fine update matey

A suggestion for the next update would be a % age indicator for the probable accuracy of the OEP found with your module. e.g. lame packers 100%, asprotect 10% etc
Just my tuppence worth!

Hi crispeater,

Actually the OEP found is not dependant on the packer used at all!
SO if for a target you actually get an OEP, you suld keep getting it with whatever target it is packed with!

OEP accuracy is dependant on the language of the coded file.
For MASM/TASM files the accuracy is low, for most other common compilers its quite high

Gorr,

It works on all Windows platforms...
Tested on Win9X, WinME, WIN2K and WinXP

So you shouldn't have any problems on NT

Is it possible to place the PEiD engine into a DLL so that it can be called from other apps?

Hi squidge,

Well, it's certainly possible and it has been on our mind for some time now, but we really havent got any requests or perhaps its a bit too much worl to indulge in?

We'd rather improve PEiD some more before making it into a DLL engine for use with other softwares
