Hi all,
Last night i was trying to reverse a simple dongle. It's an EXEKey, maybe no one knows it bcoz it's an Argentinian Dongle.
I was able to manage old versions of that dongle, but in a newest version SoftIce dont pops up when i set a bpio.
In past versions of that dongle, i set a bpio 378, and i was able to trap the program access to the dongle. The proggie is a DOS application, but i use SoftIce 4.05 for Win9x.

Which kind of trick they can do to bypass the breakpoints on IO?.
Any ideas?.

Greets and thanks.

I have a software which is aslo protected with EXEKey++ v4.04 and I still didn't solve the problem about cracking... Did you try EXEKey Killer v1.0?
