Hi, all. I could have sworn I did this a couple of days ago, but who knows? Maybe I pushed the "cancel" button instead of the "post" button - retaining ideas and thoughts becomes a challenge, once you reach my age <g>.

Well, here I am, back at the learn-to-crack stage, for the fourth time. Maybe this time I'll get it. I happened by this group about a week ago, and after having read a few requests for help, and their responses, I think that I'll be getting some civil answers as well - at least, I hope I will. Oh, and I've just picked up some new essays that appear to cover the information I have been missing.

Brief bio: 53 yr old male - sole proprietor CADD services - central MA - no training in programming. Should I forget it? Naah, I'm persistent - almost understood what was going on at the last go-round, but because no-one was answering my questions, I left it alone for a while.

Regards,
Zee.

You have the basic qualities to become a cracker. You have a pulse, you have a computer, and you have the will.
Please feel free to post your questions, be patient, wait for answers and someone will help you or direct you.
This is the internet, there is no editorial board or costumer service manager, so some answers may be unclear, some useless and some, perhaps, unpolite. It is you who has to filter what suits you. For the most part, people in here come to learn and to help.

Hiya zeeman,

Welcome to the board

I think you'll find this to be a very newbie friendly board (I have anyway). Feel free to post your questions and we'll do our best to answer them. You might also want to check out some of the past projects in the mini project area...they could provide some ideas and they're never really "dead"...you can always continue posting your questions within the thread.

Cheers ;-)
