I'm searching for any info or tuts on the "backtrace" feature of softice.

Hi dude,

As it happens, I've just about to write an essay on some advanced SI commands, which will also include an explanation of the backtrace buffer.
Do you think you can wait a day or two ?
If not, mail me, I'll be as helpful as I can

In the interim until Lord Soth finishes his tut, here is the url to +Sandman's SoftICE resource centre. Chapter 9 has some info on the back trace range. And you can't go wrong checking out what the officail manual has to say (though IMO its a bit vague on the details )
