Greetings,
I have a question I need some help to clear out. I have installed Softice Driver studio 2.7 on two systems, WinXP and WinME, and it both runs very smoothly. So far, so good.:-)
On my XP system I changed the keyboard mapping by using the program keymap.exe that comes with Softice. (I'm Norwegian, and very happy to be able to use the norwegian key set instead of the one that comes with Sice (USA)). This worked very well on my XP system, but when I try to do the same on my ME system, I run into problems. On the XP I put the keymap.exe in the windows\system32\drivers\ catalog and typed "keymap.exe ntice.exe".
On my Me system I put the keymap.exe in the windows catalog and typed keymap.exe winice.exe.
But then I get an error messagebox saying "Couldn't find the magic cookie", and no changes takes place.
I installed the whole Driverstudio package on both systems.
Does someone have a good idea on what to do?
All kind of input is welcomed...
regards,
hobgoblin
PS: Could not find any interesting solutions when I traced the help files and etc in Driverstudio.
