Well I'm not sure this is even possible but this looks like a good place to ask.

I have an exe file which containes a few lines of plain text I need to change and still have a working exe. I need to make the following:

fhud.sdf....fhud....fhud....rhud.sdf....rhud....rhud....ghud.sdf....ghud.

...ghud....thud.sdf....thud....thud....shud.sdf....shud....shud....

Into:

fhud.sdf....fhud....fhud....rhud.sdf....rhud....rhud....ghud.sdf....ghud.

...ghud....thud.sdf....thud....thud....shud.sdf....shud....shud....mhud.

sdf....mhud....mhud....

Which is adding an extra 28 characters, I know enough to know just adding the line will result in a busted exe. So does anyone know if this would be possible and still have a working exe?

Thanks for reading
John

Howdy,

Because this is posted in the newbie forum.............

You got to start this all over again. Go read the FAQ.
Search your target or what you want to do using the
search function or using Google.

No one will be able to derive anything from what you
have posted.

Please try again.

Hi,

I cant move it to the "hall" He asked nicely and posted it where
it belongs. Although this may be the 339th time I will regret
leaving such a thread up on the board
