Hi guys

Has anyone had experiences with reversing the protection used by the SenseLock dongles? The only information I can find on the net about this is in Chinese(?).

Specifically Sense Lock version 3.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

All I know about it is that it's a USB dongle (paralell ones may exist too) that protects the program through encryption. The dongle itself does the decryption, so you need this before you can use any program protected by it (unless the authors of the software protected by the dongle did it in a really crap way)

Certainly can't find any SDK's or anything about it.

Hi squidge

Yeah I know that it is USB and yes there is a parallel version available, otherwise the makers of the software utilizing it may lose some customers (who either don't have USB ports or all USB ports are used up) + the fact I saw some references to the parallel port in the program that I am trying to reverse.

One thing though, there is a DLL there that seems to contain readable function names and stuff, some sort of development library DLL , trying to find a way to decompile it rather than disassembling it.

Still a SDK would be nice.
