My config.sys already has nothing in it. So I can't fix it that way. It still restarts after finding a page fault on boot. My INIT string is
INIT="wl;code on; lines 50; wc 36; wd 4; wr; faults off;X;"
PLEASE HELP! To see what other people have said before go to http://www.woodmann.net/Ultraboard/Public/HTML/B8/1094-1.topic.html

I had that problem at first. But i didnt get a page fault,
but the system restarted all the time.

Longshot but I had similar prob on my last PC & couldn't solve it with logic, so moved to poke n' hope. I had an ATI video card & an ATI cable/TV tuner which was at the root of the problem. I could have sice or the tuner but not both.
Never figured out why 'cos the tuner was bundled with the PC & I didn't really want it.
If it aint that, try to disable everything that starts up thru 'run's in registry or via boots in win.ini/system.ini. & see if it'll go on a clean boot.
