I found an other one ... simple and useful
" HT is a file editor/viewer/analyzer for executables. The goal is to combine the low-level functionality of a debugger and the usability of IDEs. We aim towards a perfect hex-editing ability and support of the most important file formats.
Supported formats
Support means that HT will be able to correctly display and modify the executable header, image and other extensions specific to the file (import/export sections, relocations, debugging information etc.). Support will probably include the following file formats:
Win32 portable executables (PE) (good support)
Unix executable and linkable format (ELF) (good support)
DOS standard executables (MZ) (supported)
Win32 linear executables (LE) (supported)
Windows/OS2 "new" executables (NE) (supported)
Unix common object file format (COFF) + DJGPP COFF (supported)
OS2 linear executables (LX)
M$ object files (.obj)
Copy, paste, histories, undo
HT will in its final stage support some very comfortable function like copy, paste and undo. Most dialogs will have a history.
Searching/Replacing
Searching/Replacing in HT is going to be a very powerful function. You will be able to search using these methods:
hex/text search/replace
the simple hex/ascii search, options: case insensitive
C/ASM string search/replace
takes a mixed (C/ASM style) string as argument, options: case insensitive
regular expression search/replace
powerful extended regular expression search and replace function (perl style), options: not yet specified
Debugging features
The code analyser will have many advanced features that make understanding the analysed code much easier. These features include: call/jmp-tables, cross-references (xrefs), functions, special code wrappers for import-stubs, automatic label generation, powerful search functions
HT will be able to save code labels using these file formats:
.SYM binary file format
.MAP text file format
and others... "
take a look at :
http://hte.sourceforge.net/screenshots.htm
let's test ... it's free
and ( with source code ) WooW
