Hello

I have installed Softice 4.05 in Win Me and there is nothing in the autoexec.bat as I was advised that there should be. Can I input a line there and, if yes, what should it be?

Control and D does nothing at all andif I go to the install directory and start it from the loader exe it will open an exe but the load button is greyed out.

Does the app work in Win Me at all?

My Win98 computer is really for audio and has Cubase on board. I remember reading once that Steinberg inserted code into Cubase that stops it from running if Softice is present. I can do without any troubles on that system and prefer to stay on my small set up if possible. I would rather not use win98 on that because the net is faster for me using Millennium.

Also - if I have to go to my primary system - I use 98 lite and wonder of thats ok with Softice?

Thanks.

I have winME and softice running. You need to go to Numegas site and follow their detailed instructions on getting the two running together, which involves installing one of the sdk's from MS. Can't remember all of the details, but I know it was hard to find the page at Numega when I was looking for it Simply changing the autoexec.bat just doesnt work. On the subject of winME, anyone know how to get smartcheck working
