This is a general question for the audience, not a specific problem:

I recently updated my computer by changing the MB and the CPU to an athlon 2200. I left a partition running Win98, for RCE reasons. The Sice version I have installed in this partition is 4.05 for Win9X. It works OK, except when I try to place BPR break points: The computer freezes irreversibly. Only way out is cold reboot.

Has anyone used Driverstudio 2.6 or 2.7 with win98? What about with an Athlon CPU? Do you think instaliing newer versions of Sice in the old OS may help my problems or only compund them?

I know, Kayaker, my wet friend. I remember that thread. I was hoping that clandestiny or some of the other affected people might had run into more information around the issue. I am looking around, so far without luck.

This is a follow up in the remote case anybody is still interested. I re-reupdated my system to using Pentium 4, 3 GHtz.

When I try to use BPR in Driverstudio 2.7 under win98, still locks the computer. So the problem with BPR is not idiosyncratic to Athlon
