Hi there!
I have just completed some small tool that could interest some of you
LA2C is a Local Assembler To (pseudo)C Translator: it is meant to help the process of source code recovery from assembler. It something like a small decompiler for subroutines. I think that maybe some of you will be interested.
It is composed of a small IDC for IDA which produces the input for LA2C.exe... But everything is explained in the docs!
Some features:
- 1-2-1 translation
- jump rebuilding
- stdcall rebuilder
- fastcall rebuilder(with some small data-flow analisys)

LA2C v3.5 is released. It features the new PostTranslation Step which kills all the PUSHES & POPS that have survived the call rebuilding step.
Download at:
hxxp://polaris.kcmo.net
Also, INQUISITION IDA Pro plugin is in beta test. Please check the same website for news.

try reading the f***'ing site: "Strangely enough, INQUISITION users are really a vast number: I keep getting request for it, even if I announced that the project has officially been discontinued."
admins: can we ban ppl in the future who don't use google or don't try reading before asking questions?

Hey
sorry for that.
But on the site (polaris.kcmo.net), there is no link or no news from inquisition...and no reference that the project was discontinued.

Dear B2kguga,
LA2C was finally removed from the website mostly for renewing needs (had cleaned up the website - they said it was horrible!

) and never thought to re-upload LA2C archive...
So, just drop me a mail and I will manage to send the latest version to you.

Whoa disavowed: Drop by Polaris' frozen wastes for a while and chill out.
If we started "banning" people for failing to read what's in front of them or failing to use a search engine, we would be spend way too much time doing that.
Usually it is sufficient if we simply beat them to a bloody pulp and leave then to crawl home through the snow. After their initial wounds heal, they usually do better the next time.

You should have my job. And I try to maintain some small level of discipline over on the exetools forum also. Both a thankless job, usually.

But control of that "delete" button makes up for a life, or the absence of one, without any other real power.
