When i tried to install GetRight-A wonderful downLoader...It tells some debugger is there, so you should startit without SICE.
'Active Registry Monitor' another one is also had the same problem 'Debugger Detection'
Is there any way to Patch these problems......
Whether SICE Add-ins would work...
Pls help
Zkhan:
You need to do some searching here before you post questions. One of the reasons for this is that often you will find that the same question has been asked before or information about the subject has been provided before.
There are two issues here:
1. Learning how a program detects that a debugger is running. 2. learning how to "hide" the debugger from detection.
Both these subjects have been discussed in some detail before and using "detect + debugger" and/or "hide + softice" should get several good threads with information. (for example this one from just a few days ago: http://www.woodmann.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=4796&highlight=hide+softice
Particularly with Armadillo, have you taken the time to read the tutorials posted in the Packing and Unpacking Forum of this protection? If you had read the one titled "Armadillo for Dummies GetRight 5 (vol) 1" you would/will find this specific issue discussed including the use of "Bp IsDebuggerPresent."
It is a good thing to do some work on your own, rather than simply having a problem and immediately asking someone else to do the work for you. If you do some work and do not find an answer, that is the time to seek help, and when you do, explain what you have already tried. Failing to find the answer is not a problem, failing to make an effort is not a good thing. I'm trying to teach people to think about problems first, search for the answer first and then ask questions.

Sorry for my Ignorance
Zkhan13:
No one raised an issue of "ignorance" and no one ask you to be sorry. I only asked you to show some EFFORT to help yourself before you asked a question.
I attempted to demonstrate what you could find with just a "little" effort and I gave you the answer to your question. Did you do the searches I suggested? Did you read about hiding softice? Did you read the tuts on Armadillo? This is how you learn new things.
Regards.

Armadillo for Dummies GetRight 5 (vol) 1 says nothing about hiding softice from Armadillo. It only talks about unpacking and hiding Olly under XP.
