hm!

I tested this packer & found:
WinACE can compress better!
for example I packed some dump from memory
and get size: 220 859 byte;
while original EXE is 328 192 byte...

Eh! unfotunatelly, limit here is 204000 byte,
so I fail for upload magic dump(

I THINK! this packer probably can FAIL for run on AMD!!

The packer doesn't run on my computer, except if i use Soft ice.
Then it detects it but i can bypass that.

Maybe you should try on your AMD without Sice loaded and see if it crash or not?

Im using an AMD here, and without Sice, it crashes.
i experienced such behaviors before, when i was coding some test apps. Could be a bug in the detection or something.

Are you working for them ? ;-)

Anyway, i protected some files with that protector and unpacked them without problems.
There isn't much to say about that protector.
It's another clone

Hopcode!

Clear for me one thing: with SICE you bypass detection & then
it no more crashes??

What type is your AMD?

then we continue.. even if Dreamer is saddAMD

it isnt amd's fault it doesnt work without si disabled (rem in autoexec.bat), disable si from its control panel and try again

ya, back to this thread.

INCORRECT is to use undocumented
trick with self-overwriting REPE instructions.

remove it.
