I have Ida 4.30 and 4.50 and i need analice a file Hasp protected and i have the hasp signatures files for IDA, but when i charge the signatures are put in the queue and say when analisis finish, ida will use the signatures.
The analisis of the exe (6 megas) is running till 12 hours and continue and continue uff.
There are a form (a configuration maybe) for speed the analisis and make IDA use the signature file now or more quickly?

I think IDA is analising in a infinite loop.
Is analizing now and not stop, is the 3 try and never end analisyng.

Is possible bypass the part of this infinite loop in analisis?

You can analyse yourself by not using the auto-analysis IDA has. But keep in mind that very big projects just take a hell of a time to disassemble, especially with slow PC's. I don't know about your's but with my old PIII 550 it was sometimes very very slow.

Just my guess can you lower down the version of ida to 4.15 & then try it might work. OR if you are already tired upload on your ftp & i;'ll d/l it for you & check it. I am used to keep machine running under ida.

In kernel Options i disable 3 marks and continue analizing but now is advancing and goes out of the infinite loop, well is ending now thanks.

was the program writen in Delphi?

One thing you might try is to bump up your virtual memory max paging file size in Windows control panel. This may speed things up a bit with IDA. I am using the 4.50 also.

What sometimes works for me, when IDA seems to be looping, is to save the database, close IDA and reopen it.
