Hello everyone!

I'm a newbie in unpacking but I have manually unpacked a program protected by TeLock 0.99 and rebuilt the IAT with ImpRec 1.6 and it runs fine on my machine (W2K SP4) but when I tried it on XP then it crashed when I opened it.

How do I fix this problem?

Try doing it with revirgin, when you have goten that working run it and make another dump then fix the new dump with imprec with the revirgin one is running, it works most of the time anyways

You'll normally find it's either the SizeOfImage, SectionAlignment, or FileAlignment thats wrong (or a combination). You can correct the SOI by using a PE Editor, but it's best to realign the file to correct the other two as the header is normally correct, but the section headers need altering and the file rebuilding to match.

I did it the "hard" way, I manually unpacked it again but this time on the other machine.

I will try your ways and see if I can get it correct in the future.

There is another way. PESHEiLD has one option for rebuilding EXE. You can try rebuild your EXE with it and I think it will work fine.
