Hello everyone...
please help me in this problem with SoftICE v4.05 for WinNT/2k.
I use WinXP SP1 and I made SoftICE start in manual mode. When I try to start it from the start menu I see a quick flash of a command window but SoftICE never starts.
Then I opened a command window and typed "net start ntice".
It reports an error as shown in the follwing picture:

Please tell me what to do??

Only the later versions of Sice, 4.26 4.27 and 4.30 say they have WinXP support. While some people claimed to have fixed 4.05 with a patch, it never worked for me. There were tons of posts about the issue in this forum 18-24 months ago. Please search.
