how to unpack the shell of svkp 1.3x

First, read the FAQ. It will tell you what you should do before you ask a question. Then use the search function for the board. Then do some of your own work and tell us where you are stuck. We don't do all the work for you. We are only here to help after you make some effort on your own and show us what you have done.

Regards.

I told you how to find the OEP on the other forum, now go fiddle with it.

For those of you who are not following this "facinating" thread everywhere, the "other Forum" SvensK refers to is his response to the identical post by seee in the General Discussion Forum on the Exetools Forum. Upps. That'll teach me to make assumptions. Apparently Seee posted his question in yet a third (or more) Forums. SvensK's reply is NOT in the exetools forum.

Regards.

That is, if SvensK isn't in reality an evil agent sent out to make us all go mad, and embark on neverending quests to find the "lost forum", of course.

Btw JMI, do you by any chance see anything peculiar about the username of this evil agent, which perhaps in certain frost covered countries would imply something about say... nationality?

SvensK

Frost covered eh?

Not for another week or so

Edit: I don't know what JMI has been smoking, coz it's in the exetools forum

Yeah, yeah, there was some snow last week at least, ok? We don't want to ruin the reputation of this nice country to the world, now do we? Now smile and tell the crowd that you just saw a pack of penguins chase a polar bear outside your window.

SvensK

Well, at least the northern parts have gotten their share of snow.

Perhaps I was not quite as clear as I had intended. Seee posted the identical post here: http://www.exetools.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3004, which was the one I "assumed" SevesK was indicating was the one he had answered. There is still NO answer to that thread on exetools. So the "other" thread must be this one: http://www.exetools.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2994

By the way, since dELTA has been tutoring me on improving my Swedish, I know that SvensK means a male Swede.

At least we got that sorted out, maybe time to close the topic?

dELTA

Here's some more tutoring JMI, this time on Swedish-related English words: It's "Swede".

And SvensK:
We don't close topics around here, we just kill them with off-topic babble.

And just to set the record completely straight, I gave up smoking when I was 8 years old. Too much coughing. And dELTA is down in the south where the penguins are much better behaved. Or so he says.

Sorry coach, didn't look far enough down on my list of descriptive phrases. And after spending the day stuffing myself with Turkey and Ham and pie I can't remember how to spell.

I just thought I would continue to re-direct this thread a little more.

Swede looks like it is spelled correctly.

Well, seems like someone has edited it by now, it used to spell "Swed" in that message. To avoid any further confusion I just restored it to the original spelling anyway.

This used to say something really clever, but dELTA was sooo jealous that he changed it into something stupid. It was a reminder that he had blown his English grammar while correcting my Swedish grammar, but he was sooo embarassed that he tried to hide his mistake by editing my post. But three can play this game. (For the benefit of the historical record and Woodmann's strained sanity, I did change the spelling again.)

Actually, I'm still a wise old wizard, even if dELTA keeps trying to change my posts. After all, I can edit them back.

Actually, spelling is often learned before grammar (which is the correct spelling of that word btw ), so I'll wave to you from the class above then.
