Hi, Im new in cracking and I read the +ORC first lesson and I try to crack pooldemo.exe but when I switch to softicedos 2.0, the characters are bad, the screen show only garbage, and I dont undertand anything. I post there because in the tool forum nobody response me. thanks

I used softice 4.01? for windows and just
bprw the module, dos or not...
But the deadlisting helps too...
use PROC to find the module..
or MOD if you have patience...

Plus the loader seems to take anything these days ... there was a few loaders in the package I think.... or from the net.

Even w/o loader just hunt it down, even search for some code at start of pooldemo if need be....
ps I've never gotten 2.62 or 2.8 dos softice to work on this machine.. if you do let me know any tips
The newer has more commands too....
