Start by looking down in this page: CrackZ archives. You will find rather extensive docs and tutorials about Dongles, and HASP in particular.
That should take you closer to what you want to do.

Once you get into some interesting code, or have more specific questions you may post again, and some one will give you some pointers

Hiya,

You won't do much with the HASP drivers (unless you are going to rewrite them), this sounds like a job you aren't prepared for ;-). This leaves you with the option of patching the high level HASP API (eminently possible), although the interface has changed somewhat from the old API described on my site.

Shortly I will write a brief documentation of the new API convention (registers) and description of a simple way to once again find an easy place to include ones HASP emulator code.

Digressing once again, if anyone out there is SERIOUSLY interested in collaborating (moreover analysing / bug-testing Hardlock/HASP latest vagaries), drop me an e-mail. Without revealing vast amounts of details, I have spent nearly 9 months constructing various working hardlock drivers from the kludge that Aladdin now provides (some 600k of complete and utter junk at last count of v4.95), including all the previous versions too ;P.

Regards

CrackZ.

That sounds pretty hardcore to me, aren't you supposed to be retired?
