Hi,

I would like to give my thanks to all of you who have contributed
to this place. My thanks to the Mods who put up with my 'leet
server skills and, my thanks to those who own sites that I host.

Most important is my thanks to all the people who stick with us despite
the times we have to move the server. Your support is what makes me keep this place going.

I know this is a bit dated but, for us old guys (me and JMI), this audio file was an underground classic and I hope it still is.

Best wishes to you during the holiday season.

Hey! I resemble that remark! I am not "old," I'm ancient. And I thought Cheech was most known for getting busted for selling "Paraphanilia" recently and Chong, for his participation in Nash Bridges. Or was it the other way around?? There's so much smoke in here from all that weed, man, I just can't tell any more. Uh, Dude, what were we talking about, Oh yah. Happy Holidays.

And to think I spent my formative years listening to the latest LP's of Cheech & Chong and George Carlin, fresh out their cardboard sleeves, getting high on, uh, the second hand smoke from my friends, yeah, I think that was it.., I tried not to inhale. For those who have never seen one, LP's were these wobbly black vinyl things that sometimes made music without skipping. If you could still place the needle exactly at the start of a song, then you weren't high enough.

The real thanks go to you who have spent the bucks, the inordinate amount of time, and the aggravation to keep the server and funky new board interface up and running this past year, the rest of us will take the lump of coal in our stockings and try to make your efforts worthwhile. Somehow, someway, we're still here. And they say miracles never happen

Best Wishes to all,
Kayaker

Hey, I actually got a package with a "lump of coal" from my daughter last year. Cute little can with a Santa on it and everything. Ah what a blessed commercial shopping event the holidays have become. Just picked her up from the airport. She just flew in from New York and boy were her arms tired. (Really old joke. Vintage Marx.)

Kayaker, lets go out to the garage and crank up the old eight track. To heck with this new fangled digital stuff.

I still have my turntable and some old 78's. I even have a 4 channel, reel to reel tape deck and one of the "original" surround sound receivers, circa 1972, that are just coming back into style in the last few years. You ought to hear the four channel sound track from the movie Grand Prix with the Forumla One cars racing around the room. You can almost smell the fuel and tires buring up.

Solomon

Hey, even I owned a couple of LPs once. Can't remember too many details about those early years of my life though, but I think my dad got mad at me for drewling all over them and trying to eat them.

Happy holidays to all of you guys, and special thanks to Woodmann for keeping this wonderful place funded and running!
