How about you follow the forum rules and use the search function before you ask a question. There is a search button on the top of each of the forums. Use that box and write "laserlok" and you will find threads to review. Also try your favorite search engine and try "laserlok + cracking" and you should find turotials. You need to do some of the work yourself. Do your homework and then come back with a specific question.

Obviously the Tools are for LaserLock v5 Versions and not for the SPEenc Packed ones,so using the Tools may not work anyway.
Would be interesting to know wich Game he has, thus a rough guess on the used Version can be made ;-)

hasn't always been there.
and I believe the tools pointed out by krkr were coded when there was no speenc.

Indeed,Doug is right.
The Tools were done for very old Versions that had just Calls/Jumps redirect to the Laserlock Dll. The Code Section wasnt touched beside the Opcode mangeling of those 2 Instructions.
With SPeenc v1,v2,v3 they invented also partly packing&crypting (beside some new Addons on each new Version)
Question is.. What Version is used on his Game :P
Usually theres some Info placed in the Pe, that shows atleast the SPEenc Version

Dissassemble the file.
Search for "getdrivetypea"Must be somewhere in kernel 32 functions
Then do u see a call and a cmp with 0005.
0005 refers to cd drive and 0003 refers to hard drive.
So change 0005 to 0003 and the prog will run without any
cd check.
Or another solution would be to just change a "Je" "jne" "call"
Hope this helps
