Hi guys,

does anyone know what packer is Skype(wxw.skype.com) using?
I can dump on it, but the exe has to be rebuilt or something, because I get an error as soon as I start the dumped exe.
Also, it looks like it has a pretty good anti-sice scheme(al least too good for me)

Could someone help with the matter?

thanks...

Have you attempted to use any of the many PE identifiers on the program to determine if one of them can identify the packer? If you unpacked it, did you fix the import table? Generally, that step is necessary is it is using a commercial packing program designed to prevent unpacking.

i looked briefly, it didn't seem to have anything else than MeltICE tricks (but using CreateFileW)... checks are executed twice on startup.

for a 1-click solution, try iceExt.
