1)---> WinDASM 8.9 : I'm using XP SP1 and WinDASM still run correctly,but I can't use patches for windasm 8.9 in programmerstools (http://www.programmerstools.org/)
When i was patching windasm,It's had an error and automatically closed

Do you give me the full patching version of windasm (included hex editor) ?

2)---> Hiew : when i was open a *.exe file using hiew,the font is displayed incorrect. I don't know what's happened?

3)---> Using SoftICE 4.05 for NT Patched for XP:
It's allright,but sometimes my PC auto restarted
And i can't use "exit" command

I'm using this command for Softice,is it correct :

INIT="wl;code on; altscr off; lines 57; wc 32; wd 8; wr; faults off;"

Thanks all for your help !

flyingshadow:

Please go to the link at the bottom of the Forums and click on the link there which reads: "Read the FAQ." One of the things it will tell you is that you are NOT to ask for the "Tools of the Trade" on this forum. Those are things you are to look for elsewhere and ask for elsewhere.

Also use the search button at the top of the Forum to search for answers already given for problems with WinDASM. Just put that in the "search" box and you will find alot of information.

There is already a great deal of information here also about how to set up your version of SICE. Do a search for "winice.dat" and come back when you have a more specific question.

The w32dasm u r using is a different version it aint the 8.93.
Even i used to get same problems none of the patches worked.

The only solution is to download the right w32dasm.
From here on u r on ur own.Cause the faq say no urls baby.

But i will give u a small hint on how to make a patch for making string
data refs available for visual basic apps in w32dasm {ur version will do}

Search for something called "Code"
Then look here and there for the riight code and change it to enable
the sdr for vb appz
