New adobe products require this fancy activation now...found this on the faqs about activation and thought it was pretty funny:

--------------------------

Q: What about customers who have more than one computer at home? Will Adobe be offering a "family license"?

A: Adobe is committed to offering the most flexible user options. Product activation opens the door for Adobe to offer more tailored terms to our customers, and we will be evaluating all possibilities going forward.
--------------------------

LOL. Did that answer have anything to do with the question? What a line of bull....

So I guess no more easily unwrapping with Olly then? :P

Just out of curiosity, the mentioned they used a third party activation kit. Do you know who the third party was? I'm sure the party was someone that is common knowledge around here..(for example, flexLM, ARmadillo, etc).

Activation is implemented in Photoshop only and I have no idea about any implementation - no curiosity at all. My guess - they have invented their own crap. The same as MS did for the Windows activation. But at least MS used some cryptography - hyperelliptic curves etc...
